Welcome to the B-Side! I started this blog as an outlet for my ideas about music. I’ve been a lover of music from a young age. I remember childhood band t-shirts, singing in the car with my parents, and a lifelong obsession sparked by my Dad’s Wii game (thanks Rockband). Since then, I’ve always had a deep interest in the writing, politics and literature of music. I’ve previously studied music, but since graduating, I’ve not had the opportunities to write about music in the way I once enjoyed, and so the B-Side was created!
I plan to write about a range of music, new and old, from across the genres. I’m hoping to write reviews, opinion pieces, music history and more. Honestly, I’m not even sure if I’m any good at writing like this, but I’m hoping to make it my own. Thanks for joining me for the ride!
